All GFP shipments or receipts must be reported via the GFP Module. Contractors with GFP should be made aware of this change to ensure compliance with DFARS 252.211-7007 is maintained.
GFP Module Property Transfer Training will be held 25 July 2018 from 10AM – 11:30AM EDT via Defense Collaboration Services (DCS) using this link: . GFP Attachment in the New GFP Module Going Live Soon Attachment in the New GFP Module Going Live Soon2018-03-28T16:00:00Z,
The new Wide Area Workflow Government-Furnished Property (GFP) Module goes live for the GFP Attachment on 2 April 2018. Please see the GFP Module Transition page on the DoD Procurement Toolbox for more information. Webinar training is available 29 March 2018 at 10 a.m. EST and more dates will be added for April and May. Training slides are currently posted on the GFP Module Transition Page. GFP Attachments for awards, mods, or solicitations that will be released after 2 April must use the GFP Module to create the GFP Attachment. Otherwise you can proceed using the DoD Procurement Toolbox version of PDF or Excel template and the conversion tool. If your GFP Attachment will be issued after 2 April and you are planning to use the Excel template for upload into the GFP Module (instead of creating the GFP Attachment line items directly in the GFP Module), please be sure you are using the GFP Module version, which is version 2.0. It is available on the GFP Module Transition Page. If you have questions, please contact Defense Procurement Acquisition Policy using the "Contact Us" feature on the DoD Procurement Toolbox (links provided below).

GFP Module Transition Page:
GFP Training Info:
GFP Module GFP Attachment Excel Template:
Contact Us:
string;#/training/career-development/icpm/blog/GFP-Attachment-in-the-New-GFP-Module-Going-Live-Soon
PCARSS Web-Based Training Web-Based Training2018-03-20T12:00:00Z,
The Plant Clearance Automated Reutilization Screening System (PCARSS) is the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) eTool application referenced in DFARS 252.245-7004. PCARSS is the electronic means used for reporting, reutilizing, and dispositioning Government property in the possession of contractors. Prior to 2011 PCARSS was used by DCMA and contractors who were willing to use it to submit inventory disposal schedules in lieu of Standard Form 1428. However, DFARS 252.245-7004 widened the use of PCARSS to include all of DoD and made use of PCARSS mandatory for contracts that included the clause. Many personnel who are involved in the disposal of Government property as well as those interested in reutilizing Government property desire a better understanding of how to use the eTool. For those who are interested in increasing their knowledge of PCARSS it is suggested that you view DCMA’s interactive web-based training. There are four modules that cover how to use PCARSS and three modules that address reports. Keep in mind that there have been updates to PCARSS since the training was developed (e.g., creation of Government-furnished property attachments) that are not included in the training. However, the basic concepts are the same and the training should be helpful.

string;#/training/career-development/icpm/blog/PCARSS-Web-Based-Training

The GFP Module will be used for GFP visibility, movement, and disposition (property loss and plant clearance). The GFP Module is being developed in three phases. Phase 1 is the GFP Attachment, which is to be deployed April 2, 2018. Phase 2 is GFP Movements (shipments/receipts), which is scheduled for deployment approximately July 15, 2018. Phase 3 is Plant Clearance and Property Loss (disposition). Phase 3 is scheduled to be deployed in the Spring of 2019. Details of each phase can be found on the GFP Module Transition page at .
string;#/training/career-development/icpm/blog/Government-Furnished-Property-Module
