This presentation of DoD Instruction 5000.02, with Change 3, is an educational derivative of the official document hosted and maintained by Washington Headquarters Services (WHS). The essential content is the same; however, this document includes hyperlinks to improve the reader's experience and a full-context paragraph numbering scheme. Change 3 was essentially a “housekeeping” update, fixing entries in the list of references and clearing the prior Change 1/Change 2 redline mark-ups—Change 3 includes NO POLICY CHANGES. Therefore, no redline text appears in this version of DoDI 5000.02, Change 3.
