Written by: DAU Public Affairs Office
December 18, 2018
As a cutting-edge training organization, we are always looking for ways to improve students' ability to learn and retain information. One technological solution that is changing the learning world for the better is the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to personalize training. We recently put out a
Request for Information (RFI)
asking learning vendors that specialize in AI-driven platforms to provide us with information and proven practices on how their platform can help our students. Recently, we concluded a similar
market research program with Cerego
, a learning delivery vendor specializing in AI-backed solutions, that yielded encouraging results.
If you work in the area of learning development, specifically in the use of Artificial Intelligence as a delivery method for personalized learning solutions, we would love to hear how you could help us improve our AI-driven delivery capabilities. This is not a solicitation for proposals, this is specifically a request for information as we conduct market research into available, commercial adaptive learning solutions. With that in mind, if your company is a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541715, Artificial Intelligence Business and Industry Applications company, send responses that do not exceed five pages no later than Jan. 11, 2019. In response to this RFI, we are specifically conducting research into the following:
commercial interest in providing adaptive learning solutions and affordability of those solutions;
the adaptive learning solutions available for adult learners;
basic information about vendors, the type of learning solutions they offer, and research documentation that supports their technology as a learning solution;
exploring adaptive learning solutions that are 508-compliant and either FEDRAMP approved or in the process of acquiring approval;
vendors that could assist us in refining adaptive learning solution requirements;
other Government (Defense or Federal) agencies who have implemented adaptive learning solutions.
As we explore AI-powered learning solutions in the future, vendors who respond to this RFI may be contacted for additional information.
