Walk-In Policies
All resident DAU courses have a cut-off time, time after which, students are
not admitted without special coordination and approval of the instructor.
Typically the cut-off time is two (2) hours after the start of the course.
Walk-in students (not wait listed), are students who present themselves for
inclusion in a resident DAU course. PLEASE NOTE: Only local students will be
admitted to the course under the following conditions:
- All registered students have been admitted.
- All wait listed students have been admitted.
- Seating is available.
- The student can provide documentary evidence, sufficient for the instructor,
that all course prerequisite requirements have been met.
- Course cut-off time has been reached.
Walk-in students admitted prior to the cut-off time are admitted as a
tentative student and must relinquish their seat should a registered or
wait-list student arrive tardy. Except when DAU courses are offered as a
Fee for Service, the assigned DAU instructor will determine which walk-ins
to admit to a resident course subject to the above guidelines. For Fee for
Service course deliveries, the host organization will determine who to
admit to the course. |
