A Memorandum Of Agreement (MOA) between the United States Special Operations Command (SOCOM) and the Defense Acquisition University (DAU), was signed by Dr. Dale Uhler, USSOCOM Acquisition Executive, and James McCullough, Dean DAU South Region, in March 2005. On 8 August 2005, in support of the MOA, DAU stood up an onsite presence in SOCOM Building 501C on MacDill AFB. With Mr. Chris Paddock as the DAU Site Manager, DAU is prepared to assist the SOCOM Acquisition, Technology & Logistics (AT&L) workforce by providing training, research, and mission assistance in a holistic manner.
