July 1, 2009. This document states the Student Academic Policies governing students participating in DAU courses. 
 
September 9, 2010. Describes the procedures for enforcing DAU required course prerequisites for students matriculating in DAU courses.

September 22, 2010. Memo discussing the appointment of the Acquisition Functional Community Manager and Functional Leaders for the Defense Acquisition Workforce.
 
September 9, 2010. Memo that includes revised implementation instructions and guidance for the Program Management—International Acquisition (PM-IA) Career Path. 
 
August 25, 2010. Implementation strategy that includes establishment of Key Leadership Positions.
 
November 19th, 2010.  This memo from Principal Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics, Mr. Frank Kendall, discusses the importance of improving the Department of Defense Acquisition Requirements Development.
 
February 4, 2011. Memo from the Office of Federal Procurement Policy regarding attracting talent to the Acquisition Workforce.
 
March 14, 2011.  Memo directing the immediate implementation of approved recommendations resulting from Study Groups designed to reduce duplication, overhead, and excess, and instill a culture of savings and cost accountability across the Department of Defense.
 
February 2, 2011. Memo addressing misconceptions to improve communication with Industry during the Acquisition Process.
 
March 25, 2011. Memo notifying the contracting workforce of changes to the contracting curriculum and DAWIA certification standards, effective October 1, 2011.
 
March 15, 2011.  SECDEF's memo of further instructions regarding the DoD's strategy to increase acquisition workforce capacity, including directions regarding in-sourcing.
 
June 29 2011.  Memo for Service Acquisition Executives regarding revised requirements for Level III Program Management Certification. 
 
This memorandum extends the certification timeframe for the contracting career field from 24 months to 40 months, due to the significant curriculum changes that take effect October 1, 2011.  Further details are provided within the memorandum.
 
This memorandum notifies the contracting workforce of changes to the curriculum and DAWIA certification standards for the Purchasing and Industrial/Contract Property Management career fields, effective 1 October 2011.  The changes are driven by the new contracting curriculum.  Many of the core contracting courses are part of the certification requirements for the Purchasing, and Industrial/Contract Property Management career fields. Further details are provided within the memorandum.

A gateway to information and news regarding the Better Buying Power Initiatives.  Includes policies, memos, guides, recommended practices, ACC community forum, videos, etc. 
 
This site provides a forum for the defense acquisition workforce to collaborate on the 23 efficiency initiatives, which were outlined in Dr. Carter’s memo (dated 14 Sep 10) to acquisition professionals.
 
April 12, 2011. A handout, initially provided at the DAU Symposium in 2011, was selected as a Better Buying Power policy document.  The document contains several memo’s and instructions related to the Better Buying Power Initiatives.
 
June 28th, 2010. Better Buying Power: Mandate for Restoring Affordability and Productivity in Defense Spending from the Under Secretary of Defense, Dr. Ashton Carter.
 
September 14, 2010.  Better Buying Power:  Guidance for Obtaining Greater Efficiency and productivity in Defense Spending.
