Patricia J. Zarodkiewicz, a member of the Senior Executive Service, is the director of budget investment, Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Budget, Washington, D.C. She is responsible for supporting budget formulation and executing approximately $22.5 billion in funds for procurement, research and development, military construction, base closure and military family housing.
Zarodkiewicz, a native of West Babylon, N.Y., began her career with the Air Force in 1985 after being accepted into the Presidential Management Intern Program and after working in several private sector positions. Her career includes numerous base, major command and headquarters-level experiences working with many appropriations. She assumed her current position in February 1999.
