William (Bill) May is currently serving as an Acquisition Oversight Action Officer for the DoD Deputy CIO. He holds Master's degrees in both Electrical Engineering and Management, and is a graduate of the Defense Systems Management College's Program Manager Course. Bill's past work has focused on providing systems engineering and acquisition support to ASD (C3I), the Joint Staff, all four military Services, DISA, and NSA.

In addition to his professional work, he is an Adjunct Professor at Northern Virginia Community College teaching information systems technology night courses, the Chief Engineering Category Judge at the annual Virginia State Science and Engineering Fair, and a Special Assistant to the Prince William County (Virginia) Electoral Board.
