Overview / How the Process Works:

The Defense Acquisition University provides continuous learning modules to the AT&L workforce. Emerging requirements, policy revisions, and other training needs require the development of new online learning modules as well as updates to current offerings.

• Step 1
  Submit the Requirements Request Form to the email address: Requirements-Request@DAU.mil. DAU’s Requirements Review Board will evaluate your request for suitability and assign priority.


• Step 2
  If your request is approved, we will be put under contract for New Development, Maintenance (minor updates), Revision (major updates), or Hosting (of courseware sent from external agencies)*.


• Step 3
  DAU’s Global Learning & Technology Center (GLTC) will coordinate interaction between a chosen vendor and your stakeholders/subject matter experts, culminating in a scheduled development cycle and target deployment date. The cycle ends with a “live” module, available for student registry.

*For Hosted courseware, in addition to the Requirements Request Form, please download the document, Hosted Courseware Requirements. This communicates minimum requirements (e.g., SCORM, 508) and mutual responsibilities of DAU and the courseware’s sponsoring organization. DAU will seek concurrence (via email) acknowledging the terms and desired deployment date.
