Interactive Web-based “Database” for DAU Strategic Partnerships to track and allow customers/stakeholders/partners access to query the current listing of DAU partnerships. Current (and prospective) DAU students can search the file for partners in their area offering credits for DAU courses. This allows students to obtain necessary degrees for career advancement at institutions near their home station – enhancing quality of life. Excelerate is an exciting new program where you can earn your master degree or master level certificate in less time. Through this program, several universities are offering the Defense Acquisition Workforce credit toward master degrees and certificates for achievement of Level II and Level III Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification. Strategic Partners
- The Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and Columbia Southern University (CSU) have established a strategic partnership agreement in order to provide educational opportunities for Department of Defense Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (AT&L) workforce personnel. With this partnership agreement, AT&L workforce members can transfer DAU courses for credit towards an online MBA at CSU.
- The Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and National Louis University: The Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and National Louis University have established a strategic partnership agreement in order to provide educational opportunities for Department of Defense Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (AT&L) workforce personnel. Under this partnership agreement, AT&L workforce members can transfer DAU course credits toward certain undergraduate degree programs at National Louis University.
- The Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and Becker Professional Education have developed a strategic partnership to offer accounting, finance and project management professional education and development programs to DAU students and defense workforce personnel. Becker is a leading worldwide provider of professional education and development programs that include preparation programs for professional certification exams such as the CPA, CFA and PMP and continuing professional education.
- Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and Acquisition Solutions, Inc. have established a strategic partnership agreement to provide educational opportunities for federal acquisition workforce personnel. Acquisition Solutions provides premier instruction essential to leveraging acquisition for mission success, including the Performance-Based Acquisition Master's Certificate program that enables acquisition professionals to build "expert capability" in executing, awarding and managing performance-based contracts and projects.
- Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and Excelsior College: The Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and Excelsior College have established a strategic partnership agreement in order to provide educational opportunities for Department of Defense Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (AT&L) workforce personnel. Under this partnership agreement, AT&L workforce members can transfer DAU course credits toward certain associate and bachelor degree programs at Excelsior College.
- Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and SUNY Empire State College: The Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and SUNY Empire State College have established a strategic partnership agreement in order to provide educational opportunities for Department of Defense Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (AT&L) workforce personnel. Under this partnership agreement, AT&L workforce members can transfer DAU course credits toward certain associate and bachelor degree programs at SUNY Empire State College.
- The Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and Kaplan University have established a strategic partnership agreement in order to provide educational opportunities for Department of Defense Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (AT&L) workforce personnel. Under this partnership agreement, AT&L workforce members can transfer DAU course credits toward certain undergraduate degree programs at Kaplan University.
- The Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and Grantham University: The Defense Acquisition University and Grantham University have established a strategic partnership which will enable DAU students and graduates to earn bachelor’s degrees and master’s degrees at Grantham University.
Under this partnership agreement, Department of Defense Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (AT&L) workforce personnel can transfer credits from 63 different courses toward a degree at Grantham. As a partner in DAU’s “Excelerate” program, Grantham will offer eligible Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (AT&L) workers the ability to apply 9 credits for Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification (Level II and III) toward Grantham’s Master of Business Administration degree.
- The Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and Capella University: The Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and Capella University have established a strategic partnership agreement in order to provide educational opportunities for Department of Defense Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (AT&L) workforce personnel. Under this partnership agreement, AT&L workforce members can transfer DAU course credits toward certain undergraduate and graduate degree programs at Capella University.
- The Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and Bellevue University: The Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and Bellevue University have established a strategic partnership agreement in order to provide educational opportunities for Department of Defense Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (AT&L) workforce personnel. Under this partnership agreement, AT&L workforce members can transfer DAU course credits toward certain undergraduate and graduate degree programs at Bellevue University.
- The Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and Alabama A&M University : The Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and Alabama A&M University have established a strategic partnership agreement in order to provide educational opportunities for Department of Defense Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (AT&L) workforce personnel. Under this partnership agreement, AT&L workforce members can transfer certain DAU completed course credits toward Alabama A&M degrees and certificates.
- The Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and the Missouri University of Science and Technology : The Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and the Engineering Management and Systems Engineering Department (EMSE) at the Missouri University of Science and Technology have established a strategic partnership agreement in order to provide distance educational opportunities for Department of Defense Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (AT&L) workforce personnel. Under this partnership agreement, AT&L workforce members can enroll in graduate courses to meet DAWIA education requirements by transferring certain DAU completed course credits toward graduate level certificates or graduate degrees offered by the Engineering Management and Systems Engineering Department at the Missouri University of Science and Technology.
- The Defense Acquisition University and Webster University: The partnership centers on DAU course work that Webster University will allow members of the Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (AT&L) workforce to transfer towards the following cooperative degrees: Master of Business Administration, Master of Arts in Procurement and Acquisitions and Master of Arts in Management and Leadership.
- The Defense Acquisition University and Central Michigan University: CMU and the DAU have formed a strategic partnership to leverage technological and learning best practices, lessons learned, and other opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness in providing the DoD Acquisition, Technology, & Logistics (AT&L) workforce with certification training, education, and professional continuing education.
- The Defense Acquisition University and Boston University Metropolitan College: The partnership centers on DAU course work that Boston University (BU) will allow members of the Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (AT&L) workforce to transfer towards either the Graduate Certificate in Project Management or the Master of Science degree in Project Management.
- The Defense Acquisition University and Boston University Corporate Education Center: On Site, classroom, and e-learning certificate programs in Project Management, Business Analysis, Leadership and Information Technologies are offered through Boston University Corporate Education Center. This partnership centers on DAU course work that Boston University (BU) will allow members of the Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (AT&L) workforce to transfer towards BU's training and certificate programs.

The Defense Acquisition University and Southern Methodist University (SMU) have established a strategic partnership agreement in order to provide enhanced educational opportunities for members of the Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics (AT&L) workforce. Under this agreement, DoD AT&L personnel can transfer certain DAU courses toward a Graduate Certificate in Systems Engineering or the Masters Degree in Systems Engineering at SMU’s School of Engineering.

The Defense Acquisition University and Howard University have established a strategic partnership agreement which will allow Howard University to provide educational opportunities for members of the Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (AT&L) workforce, by offering a certificate program in Supply Chain Management. Certain DAU courses may be transferred for credit toward this certificate program that combines the education, training, and experience of the defense workforce personnel with the supply management education offered in Howard University's MBA program.
- DAU has signed a strategic partnership with Grambling State University. The partnership centers on DAU course work that Grambling State University will allow members of the Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (AT&L) workforce to transfer towards Grambling State University bachelor and master degrees.
- DAU has signed a strategic partnership with Old Dominion University (ODU). The partnership includes a Masters Certificate Program in Government Contracting for qualified members of the DoD AT&L workforce.
- DAU has signed a strategic partnership with the University of Management and Technology (UMT). The partnership centers around DAU course work that UMT will allow members of the Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (AT&L) workforce to transfer towards UMT bachelor and master degrees and graduate and executive level certificates.
- DAU has signed a strategic partnership with Penn State University's World Campus have established a strategic partnership agreement in order to provide educational opportunities for Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (AT&L) workforce personnel. Under this partnership agreement, DoD AT&L workforce members may apply for the online Postbaccalaureate Certificate in Logistics and Supply Chain Management; the iMBA, Penn State 's online MBA program; the Master of Project Management Degree and the Certificate of Project Management.
- The Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and Villanova University have established a strategic partnership agreement in order to provide educational opportunities for Department of Defense Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (AT&L) workforce personnel. Under this partnership agreement, DoD AT&L workforce members possessing level II or III certification, are eligible to receive course credit toward a Master's Certificate in Applied Project Management.
- The Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and the University of Maryland University College have established a strategic partnership agreement in order to provide educational opportunities for Department of Defense Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (AT&L) workforce personnel. Under this partnership agreement, AT&L workforce members can transfer certain DAU completed courses credits toward 11 separate masters degrees, 9 graduate level certificates, 10 undergraduate degrees and 29 undergraduate level certificates.
- The Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and The University of Mary Washington The Defense Acquisition University and the University of Mary Washington have established a strategic partnership agreement in order to provide enhanced educational opportunities for members of the Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics (AT&L) workforce. Under this agreement, AT&L personnel can transfer certain DAU courses into the Bachelor of Professional Studies degree-completion program, the Master of Business Administration program or post-baccaluareate certificate programs in Contracts and Procurement Management, Project Management, and Accounting.
- The Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and Embry- Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) have established a strategic partnership agreement in order to provide educational opportunities for Department of Defense Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (AT&L) workforce personnel. Under this partnership agreement, AT&L workforce members can transfer certain DAU completed courses credits toward various undergraduate degrees in Technical Management and Professional Aeronautics.
- The Defense Acquisition University and TUI University have established a Strategic Partnership Agreement in order to provide educational opportunities for Department of Defense Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (DoD AT&L) workforce personnel. Under this agreement, AT&L workforce members can transfer certain DAU completed course credits to a variety of TUI’s online programs at the bachelor and master degree levels.

- Defense Acquisition University and the University of Alabama in Huntsville
- The University of Alabama in Huntsville’s College of Administrative Science and Defense Acquisition University have formed a strategic alliance to advance the educational opportunities of the Defense Acquisition, Technology and Logistics workforce leading to a Master of Science in Management degree, a Master of Accountancy degree, and a Master of Science in Management Information Systems degree.
- The University of Alabama in Huntsville’s Division of Continuing Education has also formed a strategic alliance with Defense Acquisition University to advance the educational opportunities of the Defense Acquisition, Technology and Logistics workforce leading to a non-credit Certificate in Federal Contract Management Essentials, a non-credit Certificate in Systems Engineering, and a non-credit Certificate in Test and Evaluation. These non-credit certificate programs will utilize DAU courses that members of the AT&L workforce have completed to meet Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement certification requirements.
- Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and Strayer University.
DAU and Strayer University recently signed a Strategic Partnership agreement. Through the agreement, students of DAU can transfer certain completed course credit to a variety of programs at the associate’s, bachelor’s and master’s degree level or into a short-term certificate or diploma program.
- The Defense Acquisition University and the University of Alaska Anchorage. The Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) have formed a strategic partnership for the establishment of cooperative programs in the areas of logistics and supply chain management. The agreement covers graduate, undergraduate and associate degrees as well as a professional certificate. Under this partnership agreement, AT&L workforce members can transfer certain DAU completed course credits toward University of Alaska Anchorage degrees and certificates. - New Partnership with Stevens Institute of Technology signed on 15 October 02. This graduate certificate program is stepping stone towards a Master's Degree in Systems Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. Courses offered in week-long modules at various locations in US, Europe & Asia.
- The Defense Acquisition University and Georgetown University have formed a strategic partnership for the establishment of graduate degree and professional certificate programs. These programs combine the education, training and experience of the Defense workforce with the academic programs that Georgetown offers to transform careers and ensure that professionals stay on the cutting edge.
- The Catholic University Of America (CUA) School of Engineering and the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) have established a strategic partnership leading to a Master of Science in Engineering or one of four Engineering Management related Professional Certificates.
- The Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and the American Graduate University (AGU) have formed a strategic partnership for the establishment of cooperative graduate degree and professional certificate programs. These programs utilize the education, training and experience of members of the Defense Acquisition, Technology and Logistics workforce in conjunction with graduate courses offered by AGU.
- Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and George Mason University’s (GMU) School Of Public Policy affirmed strategic partnership regarding the GMU Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Professional Studies in Transportation Policy, Operations and Logistics.
- Joint DAU/GW/ESI Master's Certificate Programs
- DAU and Florida Institute of Technology established eleven cooperative graduate certificate programs leading to a graduate certificate in the following areas: business management; contract management; eBusiness; human resources management; information systems management; logistics; materiel acquisition management; program management; quality management; systems management; and transportation management.
